Random stuff

I'm soooo behind in posting. I have so many backlogged posts. Plus something's screwed up in our computer [Edit - posted last night finally! A whole load of 'em! plus more under my Simpsons Avatar post]. I noticed that old photos that I've posted on my blog are blacked out in our files. Bert had our photos backed up on disc prior to the posting but we didn't discover this problem until early April so I've been cautious ever since.

Today TC started her first day of 2nd grade and we walked with her to school (starting tomorrow, however, I'm driving!). We found out who her teacher was yesterday because the school posted the lists. I've heard really good things about her teacher (she's so young!) and I'm glad she has her. Plus, she has a few other friends in there from her kindergarten class a few years back. There is one verified troublemaker however. It's wierd; yesterday, his name was blacked out on the list, but he was there in the class today. Plus, there is also one verified bully. This kid pushed TC down last year and also teased her. We raised our daughter not to take shit from people and to handle things herself(without violence, of course) before consulting a teacher. It's sad that she has already experienced being bullied. It wasn't just from him, but from others. And she wasn't singled out; turns out a lot of the first graders were also bullied by older kids with low self esteem.. I hope this kid doesn't pull any crap with her or his other classmates. I really think this syndrome of bad kids it's a result of crappy, lazy-ass parenting. Kids don't behave, don't know their boundaries, are rude to adults, etc? Parents' fault. Sorry to sound like an asshole, but as Chris Rock would say, "Ya know I'm right!"!!!

Now that TC's in school, I can do all the stuff I wanted to do, like watch the movies I want to watch, read my books and just laze around. But, before I do all that, there is the issue of our upcoming reunion. Gotta burn 40 more cd's for the reunion mix compilation and make the covers with the track listings. A big thank you to Superman for executing the cover design with just a few day's notice. The reunion is in two weeks, but I like getting everything done early. Plus the Comic Con is the same week!The hardest part of making this disc was deciding what to put on it. Oh yeah, thanks also to Ronin and Lotus for the use of their cd's. Now that I know how to use our ripper, I was workin' it overtime!
