Seoul BBQ

I went out to lunch with a former co-worker and very good friend. Rather than drive downtown, we decided to head out to Convoy for Korean food. I hadn't tried this place before, so off we went to Seoul BBQ, just a tad bit down from Phuong Trang. Hmmmm...Can you tell what I'd like to order?
It was empty when we arrived. It was about 11:30. We were seated promptly by a window.
Our booth:
Our beef soup (oops this came out small - too lazy to fix it!)
Our panchan:
Chapchae:
On the left, kalbi ribs (although they gave us these thick boneless strips) and beef bulgogi:
I wondered if I ordered the right thing because I always thought kalbi ribs were cross-cut not with the bone like you see below. My friend ended up giving the bones to her dogs.
Leftovers were boxed up and taken home by my friend. We were too full for dessert. We originally planned to go to Opera Cafe on 5th and Ash. By the time we were done, we didn't want to deal with traffic.

Good food, but not as good as Buga. Have you guys tried the Korean place off Mira Mesa Blvd right off the freeway?

Their called, 'Shozen' and they are located at 9906 Mira Mesa Blvd, #A, Phone: 858.586.0099. They have pretty good food and I like their fried garlic appetizer.
