The Brew House is your basic sports bar kind of place. A place I would normally not dine at. But hey, I had a coupon and dammit, we were gonna use it! Bert and TC hung out with my co-worker's husband in the dining area while we were in a more private walled off section for our function. Not pictured was the ahi poke chips and buffalo wings that they ate while waiting for us.
The coupon was buy one entree and get one free, or since there were 5 of us, $10 off the entire bill.
Kinda hart to read, but here is their menu:
My co-worker and her husband shared the Chicken Fingers with Fries:
Her husband had their Cobb Salad. One of these days, I'll have to try one of these (not necessarily here though). I like that there's hard boiled eggs, avocados and bacon! Forget everything else!
I got the Brew House Salad - spring greens with candied pecans, Asian pears (although it didn't look or taste like an Asian pear to me). I had them put the balsamic dressing and Gorgonzola cheese (which I gave away) on the side.
Bert got the Caesar Salad Wrap which I really liked. In fact, I finished the other half the next day for breakfast. My only gripe is that the wrap was kind of loose, so when you bit into it, it nearly fell apart.
Another rarity for us...going out to dinner on a weeknight (not a Friday too)! By the way, if you ever go in this area, the bowling alley next door is pretty cool. You can rent 3-4 lanes in a private room complete with food and drinks. We were there a few months ago for a friend's going away party. I liked how it was separate from the rest of the bowling alley. Turns out there's several private rooms with bowling lanes there...
