Two decades plus two years...
I was so happy that TC was able (and willing) to join us this early in the morning to enjoy coffee and breakfast at Communal...
followed by a short visit to OB...

We were here last year and once again...we return.
It was July 1st, but thankfully June gloom was still in effect as we walked the pier and took in the views...
A new coffee shop opened a little over a month ago...
This new shop replaced the former Thrift Trader.
We didn't go anywhere for lunch since we went home to relax. Dinner, at our favorite Thai restaurant, was on the early side for us.
(those that know this blog and my tates will know exactly which restaurant this is)

It was great spending time with Bert and TC this morning. She was going out with her BF later that afternoon so we wanted to make sure she was with us to share our morning. In a few months she will be seventeen and later this month, will start her senior year of high school. While she was out with her BF and his family that afternoon, Bert and I went out to dinner and as always, the place did not disappoint. Full fledged posts to follow.
My parents will celebrate their official 50th anniversary tomorrow. We're not even at that halfway mark yet, but I sure hope that Bert and I will be able to reach that milestone when it comes...
