The First Avenue Bridge

Right after our "walk" across the Quince Street bridge, this next one was on our list...

In fact, while on the previous bridge, we saw this yellow bridge from afar, on the western edge of Maple Canyon. A fire engine had raced over it, catching our attention and when we saw another bridge there, we wanted to find it....

and armed with a printout of the many bridges in San Diego, we found our next bridge to cross...

"Just answer the five, three questions!"

After our genteel afternoon sipping tea at Shakespeare's, we wanted to visit a certain hidden bridge I'd only heard about but had never visited. Until today that is.

Luckily, we did not have to answer five three questions by the bridgekeeper to cross the Bridge of Death!

"What is your name?"
"What is your quest?"
"What is the capital of Assyria?"

"I DON'T KNOW THAT!!!"

Gotta love that British humour!
