We had enjoyed a little snack at Rolling Out Cafe on Taraval (where the owner used to be a denizen of North Park until he moved up here)...

It was time to switch it up from Taraval to Noriega Street...

It was great to be back in this part of the city.

I much prefer the quiet neighborhood vibe rather than the hustle and bustle of the city itself...

where we would finally have a square meal after having been to so many places since the crack of dawn...

Still on Noriega St., we went to a not-so-new donut place...

which my older niece recommended.  I was bummed to know about it the year before because it literally opened a few weeks after our Summer 2014 visit.

 So, fast forward to Summer 2015 and here we were...

Our anniversary road trip was not over yet.

Although this was our last day in SF before driving down to to Paso Robles,

we made quite a few stops in the neighborhood before our eventual departure...

It was to be expected since it seemed to be rush hour. In the distance, we would see the hill that has Grand View Park at the top...

This bakery was fairly new at the time and I was especially curious about their specialty pastry...

Next to Uncle Benny's Donuts & Bagels was a relatively new (as of Summer 2015) dessert place.

My niece wanted us to try it and I'm glad she picked this place out...

Another belated Post - 20th Anniversary Dinner at Thanh Long (2015)

Our 20th Anniversary Dinner was at a beloved neighborhood restauraunt...

Thanh Long, which is owned by the same family who own Crustacean in Beverly Hills.

The good thing was that we didn't have to drive too far since it was literally only a few minutes away from our motel...

Return to Pollyann Ice Cream

I resolve to finally tie up loose ends with our trips from last year and earlier this year.  Picking up where we left off, lunch was at the now defunct Win Fook (which is now boarded up, sadly)...

Over on the corner of Noriega and 38th is Pollyann Ice Cream, the third incarnation of the neighborhood's beloved ice cream shop.

We hadn't been here since our 2011 trip. They had changed things up a tiny bit (repainted)...We wanted a little snack before heading back to the beach.
