A few days while out doing errands, I passed by this strip mall...

and noticed that "House of 9 Dragons" was still on the sign (they closed nearly two years ago)...

Graciela's Taco Shop

There's a new taco shop in Bonita next to the Post Office. This is also in the same shopping center that has Hans and Harry Bakery.

The taco shop took the place of one of those failed "prep your own dinner" places that was popular in the mid 2000's.  You paid a certain fee and the business provided the kitchen and the ingredients. Well that didn't last long...

Late last year, I noticed Graciela's had appeared out of nowhere...

After yesterday's crappy and slightly rainy weather, today was a big improvement.

TC and I headed out to the this tiny strip mall for a few drinks before heading out to lunch..

Cotija's revisits

Sometimes I forget that this place is here...

Cotija's taco shop, on the eastern edge of the Vons shopping center in Bonita. Although TJ Oyster Bar's second location is right around the corner and Lolita's is across the street, there are deals to be had here...

Pavaraga Espresso Bar

In the tiny Bonita Plaza, not  Plaza Bonita the mall, but the strip mall that is also home to the original location of TJ Oyster Bar is a new, as in opened two weeks ago new coffee shop...

Pavaraga hails from Hawaii and the Bonita location is their first on the  mainland...

We had to give it a looksee earlier this afternoon...
