Next to Uncle Benny's Donuts & Bagels was a relatively new (as of Summer 2015) dessert place.

My niece wanted us to try it and I'm glad she picked this place out...

Continuing with Day 6 of our epic road trip...we got picked up by my cousin and her second daughter. The first one was traveling while the youngest, her son, was out with his dad.

She took us from our motel from Parkside to the Inner Sunset.

Two hours later...we finally hit Ukiah.

I guess I'm a SoCal wimp because 107F seemed like hell to me.

We hurried out of our car and into the chilly confines of Black Oak Coffee Roasters...

Luckily, I was not attacked by the birds near the trash dumpsters by Dutch Bros. Coffee!

Two hours had elapsed while on the road and it was time to make a pitstop here in Fortuna.

Heading down to SF from Crescent City...

Breakfast was just fruit plus the coffee we got at Dutch Bros in Crescent City. I really wanted us to have breakfast at the Historic Hiouchi Cafe a bit northeast of Crescent City, but it would have taken long to drive up, have breakfast and then double back down. We had a lot of ground to cover which is why we left super early.

San Francisco was our next city on the agenda coming down from Crescent City..

On our way down, we saw some interesting sights plus places we'd been to recently, like the Tour Thru Tree in Klamath...
