[Our trip to Knott's Berry Farm was late March...we went with my sis and her two boys plus Bert's nephew]
We hadn't been to Knott's since chaperoning a school field trip back in 2003. TC was still a toddler. She couldn't really go on any rides except for the kiddy ones in Camp Snoopy. This Spring Break we took advantage of Knott's low priced offers for California residents. I believe it was $19 for kids and $24 ($22?) for adults.
OMFG, we went on this first, the Ghostrider rollercoaster! My neck fkg hurt the whole damn day. Plus, I was kind of sick from our LA road trip a few days before. This made it worse. The kids loved it of course but I seriously thought my neck would snap in two. This was a very fast but rickety ride!
So, now we fast forward to lunch. Although Bert and I brought sandwiches for ourselves, we ended up eating them as snacks. The kids were hungry so we went to this place, Lucy's Lunch Box (sounds vaguely nasty) located in Camp Snoopy.
Their menu was posted outside...standard "kid food" with prices that aren't quite cheap but not as ridiculously high priced as some other theme parks.
We ate out on the balcony where we had a good peoplewatching view...By the way, it was pretty gloomy all day - low clouds and kind of cold.
The kids were attracted to this Icee with mixed flavors. I can't believe this shit was $7! You could get this way cheaper in 7-11!
I don't remember which nephews this food belonged to, but you can see they got: a cheeseburger, pizza, a plain hamburger and fries. Exciting isn't it. Okay, I was just testing you. Of course this ain't exciting. There's more exciting stuff in future posts but since I am anal and like to post almost every place we go to, I'm determined to include this! Ha ha ha ha (maniacal laughter)!
The kids also got chicken tenders and a sad looking hot dog. Man that is pretty sad looking.
