As for the bolo tie good luck charm (currently made popular once again by QB Philip Rivers), that's a fashion statement I kind of wished didn't come back, ha ha. I haven't seen one of those since the mid 80's!

Anyhow, we shall see if the Chargers will proceed in the playoffs!

Update on 1/13/14 - Chargers lost to Denver but they had a good year towards the end!

Padres Win!

Padres win 4 to 2 against the SF Giants!!! (see story here!)

Even more exciting (or dangerous) for us because we are currently in San Francisco a mere few minutes away from AT and T Park.. We just finished watching the game at Thane's place.

Oh well, suckers!!!  The Padres must win the game tomorrow in order to make it to the Playoffs!

The commentators were saying that former Journey frontman Steve Perry was in the house as well (Wut?)!!!If the SF Giants won, maybe, just maybe, he'd sing Journey's classic (and now overplayed no thanks to "Glee"), "Don't Stop Believin'"! I guess Steve Perry won't sing today after all! Boo...Hoo.

As Chico Escuela would say, "Beisbol been bery bery good to me!"

I guess Bert will indeed continue to wear his SD Padres cap tomorrow! Hopefully he won't get his ass kicked by angry Giants fans!
