as if I'd been there before, ha ha. But in researching online, saw that they had interesting drinks and so could he go there and try it?

I read that Encinitas based roaster, Lofty Coffee had just opened this past Thursday in Little Italy...

Another downpour occurred while en route to Normal Heights. We made it safely, thanks to TORC's calm driving skills.

My original plan for the day after New Year's Day was to watch the Rose Parade on TV...

Since NYD fell on a Sunday, the Parade itself was held the following Monday, which was yesterday.

Bert and I had another free morning. TC was out doing sports practice and Bert had the DVR set to record two different channels for the Rose Parade...

For a change of pace, we did brunch at a newly opened French bistro called Et Voila! (the exlamation mark is part of their name)

It's been a year since we were last at Cophenhagen, a bakery serving real Danish pastries...

they should win an award for their stylish storefront. It was still early in the morning with many fresh pastries to choose from...

but the southwestern corner lot on University and Texas is now a hybrid coffee and florist...

I was curious to come here since they recently opened five days ago...

aptly named Imperial Grounds since it was located on Imperial Avenue...
