Start crankin' up your air guitars!!!
Just saw this on YahooNews that Van Halen plans to reunite!
Let's hope it's with the original band, not that pansy ass lineup a few years ago where they substituted Michael Anthony with Eddie Van Halen's portly son, Wolfgang! Nepotism at its worst, I say!
PAUSE....
Okay, I just read the article...turns out that Michael Anthony WILL NOT be playing bass as he is with the band, Chickenfoot (with other rockstars Joe Satriani and ahemm, Sammy Hagar). Fuck! Well, scratch my hopes for the classic VH lineup.

Zebra at the Zoo
A few days ago, I took TC to the zoo...and we saw something quite "interesting" at the zebra exhibit. Look closely...
To see this sight in "action", click here (apparently, many others have seen this and chose to upload it to YouTube!).
We didn't have an upclose look like the video's perspective. We were actually looking up at a distance at the bottom of a hill. We were at a bench eating our homemade sandwiches for lunch. Lo and behold, we looked up and noticed the rather long appendange dangling from the zebra's nether regions, but all of a sudden, the appendage began to swing forward and backward! It was hilarious, but also awkward because I had to tell my daughter that it wasn't a "leg" or a long piece of "poo" (her guesses). Uh, yeah...that was something I never thought I had to explain.

And you are?
Funny thing happened to me sometime last week. I took TC shoe shopping at the Vans store. The cashier at the counter was looking at me intensely(which kind of freaked me out) before she said, "I knoooowww you - I was at your house for your birthday party!". She said this with great conviction, as if she had just been at my house recently.
I was wracking my brain trying to think of who the hell she was. I asked her for her name, which I vaguely recognized as my younger sister's classmate from FIRST GRADE! So, I told her that had mistaken me for her. Then she said in a spaced out voice, "Yeahhhh, I was at your house a looong time ago for her birthday!" Yeah, no shit. It must have been some event for her to even remember it two decades later! This chick has some memory! I called my sis later that day and she confirmed that she knew her and she did remember inviting her to our house. They knew each other up until high school then lost track of each other but it's not like they were close or hung out together. Huhhh.
I get that occasionally, being mistaken for my sis. The last time it happened was a couple of years ago. I was in line getting the meatball plate at Ikea and the server said, "Hey, I know you! You went to (mentions our high school)!" while I try to figure out who he is. It floors me because my sister and I don't even resemble each other.
