Return to Petaluma Pie Company + a visit to Green String Farm

We had to pass by the local pie shop first before walking back to our hotel...

We were here the previous night to get a dessert pie.

This time, we would be picking up our lunch...

The Riverfront, Walnut Park and last views of downtown

We made a short detour to the bridge in the area known as the Riverfront.

It led to a restaurant that was still setting up for the morning...

More of downtown Petaluma, St. Vincent's Church + more movie pop culture sites...

On our way downtown (before having our morning coffee at Acre)...

Bert dropped off mail at a nearby post office with cool architectural details (this was on 4th St).

Signs downtown pointed us in different directions...

but we would do our walk after having our coffee and morning snack.

 I felt like a doofus...

Assuming that S3 Coffee was open on Sundays for some reason. I could have checked the four letter site and gotten my answer right then and there, but no.

The dark interior told us the same.  We drove all the way out here and our original plan for coffee was dashed, But not to worry since Plan B was up my sleeve...

Summer Road Trip 2015 Day 10 - The Drive back, Blackwell's Corner & Porto's

This was it, our last day of our epic 10 day road trip...

We left Paso Robles super early to beat traffic on the way back home.

This was July 4th after all and we wanted to make it for early dinner at my parents...

Spring Break Road Trip Day 3: Acre Coffee, Petaluma

And we now change the channels back to our not forgotten Spring Break Road Trip...

We started of Day 3 in downtown Petaluma for some coffee with a view...

Sadly, the  historical museum across the street (which used to be a Carnegie Library) was closed during our visit and only opened the day after we left. Talk about bad timing.

Summer Road Trip 2015 - Day 9: Spearhead Coffee

Centennial Park in the morning...

Cleaned up completely from the previous night's concert and festivities. As we walked from our car to the coffee shop, we recognized one of the waitresses from Yanagi Sushi sitting on a nearby park bench.

We were up early for our morning coffee at Spearhead, a relatively new coffee shop in town...

Return to Paso Robles - Adelaide Inn + concert at Centennial Park

We finally arrived at our hotel, the Adelaide Inn, which is right off the 46/

It was super super hot, as in 95+ F hot.  After checking in, and being offered fresh fruit and cookies in the lobby (nice!)...

we dumped all of our stuff in the room to relax a bit before heading out to downtown...

Last month Bert and I revisited Pho Mai Cali sice we were in the area...

Yeah, I know that's an unpoetic way of labeling it, but yes, these were just that.

We went from Noriega St. to Irving St. in the Inner Sunset...

which my older niece recommended.  I was bummed to know about it the year before because it literally opened a few weeks after our Summer 2014 visit.

 So, fast forward to Summer 2015 and here we were...

Our anniversary road trip was not over yet.

Although this was our last day in SF before driving down to to Paso Robles,

we made quite a few stops in the neighborhood before our eventual departure...
