It's time again for one of those posts where I compile the pics don't really warrant a full-on post, such as this bitch kickin' pair of purple patent fake Docs.

I don't remember what the brand was, but I know it definitely was NOT Doc Marten's, at only $24.99? Real Docs are $100 or more and better quality than these fake leather shoes. These boots will probably fall apart after two or three wears, but boy, I do like that eggplant shade!

Then again, it's not the 1990's and I'm not Daria Morgendorffer and can get away with wearing these....

Ooh, it's been awhile since I did a boot or shoe post...

One last pair of boots before I become a shoe hermit...I'm thinking of getting Invisalign and I will need to cut back on something and it sure as hell won't be FOOD!

Can you believe these were only $29 on clearance at Marshall's? I happened to go in there 2 weeks ago with TC. We were looking for some new bedroom decor for her and I saw this and it was my size too...

Nine West - Barstool (The Vintage America Collection)

I love the chain detail!

The toe is more "blunt" than I'm used to - I'd prefer a point or at least a blunted point. The heel size is pretty short too so I can't wear my really nice longer legged jeans with this.

I'd seen the "cuffed" look all season but wasn't sure how it would look on me...

Another pair of boots I bought recently at DSW were these...someone get me away from that store!

The Audrey Brooke - Paula Leather Bootie

The price tag was $69.94 but it was 40% off then I had a $10 off coupon so they came out to be $32 (w/o tax)! Score!

These are leather (not quite suede but very soft) and have a slight ruche on the front of the boot.  Very Pat Benatar.

There is a zipper in the back too.

I just wore these to work today and despite the 3 1/2 " heel, my feet felt fine! But then again, I have a desk job. Too bad you couldn't see that cute ruched detail because I can't/don't/won't wear skinny legged jeans to work.  They still looked cool tho'! No photos of the boots "in action"!

I know I should lay off on buying new shit. I justified it with getting rid of two older pairs which will soon be donated to a local thrift store which gives all it's proceeds to a battered women's shelter. With this cold weather, it's definitely boot wearing weather. No open toed shoes until Spring time!

Fashion Emergency!

We interrupt the regularly scheduled San Francisco posts with an update in my Fall Boot wardrobe. This was a bit of a splurge but I haven't bought new boots in a longass time. The last time I bought boots, the square toe was in. That make it mid 2000's. Plus my calves were a tiny bit thinner, but they are still considered big by the fashion industry. It was time to update my boots and chuck the old ones!

See that first box? Wide Calf style! I found out that anything over a 15" circumference is considered "WIDE". WTF...I'm not a big person by any means but it was a bit disheartening trying on boots and feeling frustrated that I couldn't zip them up. I felt like a fkg cow. Those of you that have seen me know that's far from reality. But knee high boots made me feel that way. Until today...

I got this pair in the mail this very afternoon! I love them!These are the Macy's Style and Co. Epic Wide Calf Boots. They are really quite comfortable style and look quite sexy. There is even extra room in the calf. I got these online for $47.99 (instead of $99.99 because of the "Buy More, Save More" % off dealy thing). There is a bit of a platform and the heel is sky high the way I like it.

I just wish the toe part was more pointy. I love me some cockroach killin' 60's Emma Peel bitch kickers.

The other pair I bought online were these cute Nine West Orro ankle suede wedge booties. I will need to Scotchguard these first before wearing them because I know they are going to get scuffed. I got them for $63.99 instead of $99.99. I think it's more than I would have wanted it to be, but I really liked the low profile and the wedge heel.

Like I said with the previous boot, wish these were a bit more pointy, but they are cute.

I couldn't find an online link for this style, but I bought this pair (and the Diba's) at DSW. These are some fierce ass Kenneth Cole Reaction Benne boots. The heel isn't too high either. But it's high enough to look sexy and not all fugly Grandma'ish.

The (fake) leather is pleated; I love the side details. This was not on clearance like the other pair, but ended up being around $50. I like how these are mid-calf boots and not knee boots so I dont' have to worry about that "wide calf" thing.

And, yesssss, they are FKG POINTY! You see, pointy shoes elongate your line. You can accentuate this by making it monochromatic and making sure both shoe/boot matches with your pants/skirt. Rounded toe shoes make a person look short and stumpy which is NOT the look I'm going for, hence my intense love for high heeled and pointy toed shoes.  Orthopedist be damned.
 
Back to those Style and Co's Epic Boots...I like how it doesn't zip all the way up. There is also a fold at the top but it looks cool, not piratey. The piratey ones will have a point in the front fold.

Yay, hardware. I would love this even more if this had Billy Idol style pyramid studs instead, but buckles will have to do.

Now this boot doesn't look so good slumped on our little club chair, but man, I think they are fkg hot. So hot, that I don't think I can get away wearing these to work. These are the Diba Cee Cee Pleated knee length boots (when you click on the link, the boot color is red, but obviously, I have the black pair). The zipper barely zips over my MONSTROUS calves.  Har. De. Har. Har.

I have to wear my skinny jeans with the thinnest material or just wear it with a pencil skirt. I swear they make the majority of boots for real skinny legged bitches. This pair was on clearance and ended up being about $38 with the percentage off the clearance price. Not bad, eh. And no, these aren't leather.

So whaddaya think? I think I'll be wearing the Style and Co's more as well asthe Kenneth Cole's. I plan to get a lot of mileage out of these babies since I dropped some $$ on them. I guess no more shopping for a long while!

Before I resume the SF Posts...here's Dame Diana Rigg as Emma Peel from "The Avengers" She had a great style I must say.

I just noticed, her heels are pretty low here. She's still a fierce and tough chick though! 1960's fashions were so cool! Love it!
