Gonna eat that?

Here are a few items I picked up from North Park Produce (to be referred to as NPP from now own). It was one of my resolutions to try either one new ingredient or food item or a new recipe every couple of weeks. This is canned octopus in "garlic" flavor; it's a product of Spain and only $1.29. I'm going to have Bert be the taste tester!
This isn't really a "new" or exotic ingredient, but I was suprised to see the green onions in plastic. I was just at North Park Produce the other day and the green onions were in regular naked bunches. Hunnnh.
This was also less than $1.50 - it's a type of tomato pepper spread from Bulgaria.
This was also picked up at NPP. I was suprised to see this there. It was in the "Asian" food aisle. I've had this before, but a Filipino brand. I think Chaokoh is from Thailand. I'll have to look at the jar again. I bought these as an impulse since we just saw these coconut jel squares recently at Pure Frozen Yogurt. I like how these taste in Halo Halo! Or even just plain! So sweet and chewy!
This was from the frozen section at NPP. It looks like a thin pancake and it's filled with "tandoori paneer". I'll have to make it this week - all you do is heat it up in a frying pan. No oil or anything. Seems easy enough, but will it taste all right?
I really like NPP's selection of international food items. Makes it fun and easy to try new things especially since it's so inexpensive.
