Bibingka
Yesterday we went to my friend's send off party for his son who is going to attend Cal (UC Berkeley). The food was catered by Da Kine's - kalbi ribs, teriyaki chicken, rice, pancit and lumpia, plus homemade bibingka (see below):
Hell yeah man, I got myself the corner!
Crust rules! This bibingka tasted almost as good as my mom's. Too bad the Da Kine's pancit and lumpia wasn't so good. The pancit was mega oily and the lumpia was like fried nothing. Wait a minute, I don't know if they did the lumpia. Maybe that was homemade by someone. I didn't want to take photos of the food since there were too many people there and I didn't know them. Now if it was my party, then who cares!

OMG...I love bibingka! You're making me crave filipino cooking! Luckily, we're off to a wedding in Montreal in a few days and I'm hoping my grandmother and all my aunts will be cooking up a storm! LOL!
