Fueled caffeine...
we headed over to the NE quadrant...
to try one of the Pok Pok restaurants, Pok Pok Noi. Of course, as I write this in July 2020, we could not predict it's fate. Many restaurants all over the U.S. closed due to lack of revenue from businesses being closed in March and April and even into May of 2020 due to the covid-19 pandemic. At the time of our visit in March 2018, it was open.
Love the floral oilcloth for their outside seating. Since it was cold, we sat inside. We were the only customers for a good hour while we were there.

I'm sure this place would get busy during normal lunch and dinner hours. We came way after the normal lunch hours.
We ordered two dishes:
Their famed wings (with fish sauce glaze) and Chiang Mai sausage.
Crispy, sticky and flavorful but not very meaty
The vegetable sides were nice to nibble on.
The sausage was on the skimpy side. Looks like just one small fat piece sliced up. I was hoping for more.
The accompaniments were steamed kabocha squash, knotted yard long beans, pickled radish, a spicy dip and fried pork rinds
The sausage itself was really good, housemade and fragrant with spices and herbs. This green paste was also quite spicy. I want to say it had eggplant in it but I honestly don't remember.
As you can see, not too much food since we already had Coneys earlier that afternoon.
