There used to be a location in Little Italy but it closed...
and this new shop in Mission Hills is the only one at this point. It is right next to the old Mission Hills Library, which has since relocated to a brand new building just a few blocks west.
Even though it wasn't a sunny day, I was determined to come here since once of my students works here and I promised her I would visit.

I thought they only had popsicles (for humans AND doggies, in various sizes as well for our canine friends), but they also serve house made ice creawm.

They had tiny popsicles for small dogs! So cute!
We were feeling it more for ice cream for our visit.

Our cold treats:

Berts - S'mores with housemade marshmallows+ blueberry coconut (because no dairy for him):

Look at that...
Mine - Kumquat with chocolate shatter + Burnt honey

BOTH flavors were great but I liked the chocolate shatter better since it gave a bit of texture, along with the small pieces of kumquat rind. Very refreshing, anytime you mix chocolate with a bright citrus.

Gloomy day but made better with this ice cream.

There used to be a location at the now closed for good Roma Italian Market in Little Italy (it opened September 2017 and closed just last month this year!)
This one features an older interview with the owner (we saw her later that morning putting out their sidewalk sign):
