Today was filled with things to do and see.
We took the Tri Met today. Here's what we saw:
(parts of) the Hoyt Arboretum
The Japanese Gardens
The Portland Saturday Market
The Duck Store (U of Oregon stuff - Bert's request)
Voodoo Doughnuts
Stumptown Coffee Roasters
Velveteria (an awesome Velvet painting museum)
and Cosmic Monkey Comics
We ate:
Himalayan food as well as food from the "Horn of Africa" and
Doughnuts. This was at the Portland Saturday Market (which is also open on Sundays)

Hey CC - Did you get suckered into buying that Himalayan "Tour of Asia" plate??? If I recall the only thing worthwhile were the "momos" the dumplings.
no, i remember reading your blog and you weren't impressed with it. plus it seemed like too much food to eat. i think bert bought tc a Go-Gi with Chicken. It was a pita-like thing with chicken, potatoes and sauce.
