Tomorrow I'm off to NYC, more specifically Astoria in Queens. I'll be hanging out with my good friend N and her husband L whom we visited last summer (July 2007 archives posts). Their neighborhood is very Greek - that whole area actually. I am looking forward to some good ass food here - Italian, Jewish, maybe some Greek, or Russian, or even Filipino (Cendrillon in SoHo). I've been scouring the NY foodblogs for places to go (The Girl Who Ate Everything & A Passion for Food) plus my friends have a few places in mind to take me as well.
It's been raining there and it's humid to boot! I hope it's not too bad though. I'm bringing an umbrella just in case. So, toodle-loo for now and I'll be posting occasionally while I'm there. I'll be back by Tuesday.
