Due to Covid-19, this coffee bar is most likely operating quite differently than when I first visited in Spring 2019. Take heed.
After our quick snack at Sari Sari Store at the Grand Central Market...
we took a walk to find this "hidden" coffee bar...
located in the Medallion apartment complex. The coffee bar is in the middle courtyard.
It was very sparse inside and a young couple was working the counter.
Their menu:
I wanted to get what they were known for, their "cloud" drinks, so we ordered the mocha and the latte, lactose be damned!
That's a lot of milk there...no substituting here. Or if there was, I didn't see any other choices.
Cream galore Looked so pretty! The drink was "fluffy" in appearance and in taste, if you could even describe it as that.
It was a pretty warm day and these cold drinks were quite nice. We managed to find some shaded seating in the courtyard. The folks working here were really friendly and enthusiastic about their drinks.

Glad we were able to come by here, although there were some sketchy streets (this is after all, part of "Skid Row".
We ended up heading to our next destination for real lunch. Again, we would have to "eat light" since we were going to do a full on high-end Filipino/fusion dinner at LASA...
