the school year had just started for us counselors...
and since our training was near here, I wanted them to give this place a try. You don't know how hard it is to convince folks are aren't used to being adventurous. I was glad that most of them (all but two) agreed to try this place out.
Our lunch specials were all served with freshly baked naan...

La Ley's chicken curry with garbanzo masala:

My chicken vindaloo with vegetable korma:

Mr. TJ and another co-worker both got the chicken tikka masala with chicken curry (double chicken).

I was really happy that they all liked this place. La Ley's garbanzo side dish was really good. I may have to get that for next visit. My chicken vindaloo had a bit of a kick to it. The only thing is with all of these creamy sauces, the dairy does..."stuff" if you know what I mean. I'm not completely lactose intolerant, but yeah, it's not too fun sometimes but damn, that food did taste good! My co-workers said the curry tasted different compared to Thai (of course it would be; different mixes and spices used) but enjoyed the variety and the amount of food. Our server was also super nice; he was from Nepal.

Working our way through the menu and waiting for another inservice so we can return!
