Yesterday we spent a good part of our morning in IB...

as well as the "Surfhenge" sculpture which is at the foot of the IB Pier.

Anniversary Food Crawl - Bazinga Eatery, return to Tacos Perla & Influx plus Modern Times Flavordome and Heaven Sent Desserts

[Update - As predicted, Bazinga didn't even last one year. It is now CLOSED]

This past week several new eateries and establishments opened in San Diego, like Cafe Cantata, Wow Wow Waffle, Influx, Tacos Perla and City Tacos. I thought it would be fun to revisit some of those places with both Bert and TC especially since most of them are in the same general area.

The other day TC and I met up with MFH to watch the teen sobfest, "Fault in Our Stars" (for the record, I didn't cry but then again, it's because I have a black heart of stone and am not prone to be easily manipulated by maudlin movies such as that....) in her neck of the woods.
