Tip Top Meats with Tatonka & Superman

During our past holiday gathering,

I suggested meeting Superman for breakfast at Tip Top Meats along with Tatonka...

Bert and TC would also be with us. Supe's house is only fifteen minutes away eastward. Since it was a holiday weekend and there was no traffic, it took us only thirty minutes to get there by  8 am.  The restaurant wasn't yet crowded but when we left, tables were filling up and a line had formed. We four ordered first while waiting for Supe to arrive

Our toast stack - rye on top, two orders of sour dough and wheat on the bottom.

Tatonka's Chorizo omelet. No middle finger suprisingly enough. This looked pretty hearty and he was able to polish this off!

Bert took Superman's advice and ordered the Big John breakfast with double bacon.

My two egg breakfast with bacon. Although the Big John was tempting, I figured I would just mooch off Bert's 2nd plate of meats (which I did - ham and breakfast sausage). Their housemade bacon is so good!

TC's one egg breafkast with sausage and juice. She likes the runny yolk.

Superman's Big John with wheat  and over easy eggs. He loves bacon so much, his niece bought him a bacon shaped Christmas ornament, ha ha.

The housemade ham and breakfast sausage. One of the ends didn't look that nice though.  Bert wanted to save some room for later so he didn't get any other extra meats after this.

Before we left, Tatonka and I both bought the Hawaiian style Portugues sausage; TC got a small package of prosciutto. I also bought a hazelnut coffee cake for our breakfast gathering and a hazelnut roll as a gift for my friend Cathy of mmm-yoso.

Their meats are such good quality. It was good that we got there early because it was mega crowded when we left.

We hadn't had coffee yet and there was a new coffee shop a few minutes up north that I wanted to check out...
