Los Reyes, Golden Hill

We'd always see this spot whenever we were in Golden Hill

for Dark Horse Coffee...The photo above was taken October 2016...

These next few pix were from December 2016 featuring some pretty detailed holiday scenes. Look at the shadows on the snow and the careful snowflecked tree branches.

We finally ate here a year later. We pretty much got the same thing for the three separate visits. I can't pass up breakfast burritos that have everything in it - ham, eggs, cheese, bacon, sausage and potatoes.  None of this beans or rice crap.

There is a variety of condiments offered - green and red salsa, pickled carrot slices, fresh sliced cucumbers and radishes.

For our December 2017 visit, these were the holiday paintings on the glass windows and doors:

For my most recent visit earlier this month, I met up with a childhood friend. We just had coffee at Dark Horse. I was hoping they'd have a certain holiday drink that day like they had advertised but their peppermint syrup wasn't ready yet. My good friend and I shared a breakfast burrito here (a "super breakfast burrito" to be exact).

I love the sombrero and serape wearing snowman!

The Superbreakfast burrito is $7.99.

This thing is hefty. Better that we shared this.

For the day after Christmas, Bert and I were out and about and here we were. Guess what we had?

Ha ha, yes.  One of these days, we'll try something else but usually when we're out and about, it's early morning somewhere. It's nice when no one else is around. We liked sitting in the other room, apart from the main area where people walk in, order food etc. This part was like a sports bar area.

One of the better breakfast burritos we've had. We like how low key it is in here.

I know it's probably not the healthiest thing to eat, but damn, I do like how everything I like for breakfast is rolled up so conveniently. You can't do that with acai or oatmeal (which I don't really care for, ha ha).
