Return to Bree'osh, Montecito

There didn't seem to be any stoplights in Montecito...

The main road is a bitch to cross...

For a small town, their roads were pretty busy.  We were lucky to make it across the street without being run over. I exaggerate, but that's what it felt like.

We were back at Bree'osh, the French bakery/cafe in this upscale town.  They had a bigger selection of pastries than they did yesterday afternoon. I recognized the owner from the day before, a nice lady.

Our morning pastries - pain au chocolat and brioche with pearl sugar topping.

Macchiato for me plus a mocha for Bert.

The pastries were so fresh and light. The chocolate croissant was so flaky and buttery.  Bert and I really enjoyed our coffees with these traditional French pastries.

Inhaled!

Previous visit to Bree'osh:
April 2018 (date of post, but originally visited June 2017)

I felt so grimy since we had just completed the short hike at the Franklin Trail. I normally don't like to be seen after the gym or any strenuous exercise, but I didn't really care at this point. Plus, vain me still made sure I had eyeliner and lipstick on (my bare minimum).

Up next...return to Lookout Park and more coffee!
