going waaaay back to March 29th for our 5th day of our vacation...
where we went to Andytown once more for our morning caffeine, but this time, this was the THIRD location. The second and third are both on Taraval Street. This happens to be the roastery and retail shop.
It was also next door to a bakery we would be having breakfast at...Breakfast part 1, ha ha.
Concise menu. No flavored frou frou drinks. Real macchiatos served her. Also, no food. Go to a cafe for that.
This location just opened that same month. It was cool to have two Andytowns within short distance of each other.
My favorite is their Short Strand Espresso. That is what they use for their famous Snow Plover drinks.
Macchiato proper for me plus a mocha for Bert.
I was bummed this was served in a paper cup. Not sure why when we told the barista we would be drinking it in house.
In any case, both drinks were made well and were very smooth and rich.
