I haven't been to Fashion Valley in awhile but I noticed that the foodcourt seating area is now covered! Very nice! I also noticed that D'Lush was gone and in it's place was Pinkberry...
MFH wanted some yogurt but I was too full...
The first and only time I had Pinkberry was three years ago, coincidentally with MFH. We had lunch at Sadaf that day and met up with her son at the Pinkberry in the Gaslamp. Looks like they now offer more than three measly flavors. Even for the sake of the blog, I couldn't force myself to eat another bite, so I just "photo-documented" MFH's dessert. One of the flavors on the board was "pumpkin" for all you pumpkin lovers out there.
She got mochi balls and almonds as her toppings. By the way, I played around with the "contrast" while prepping this post. I like how this pic turned out with my tweaks.
She got the original tart and pumpkin flavors with her two toppings with a dusting of cinnamon. It looks like it is floating!
By this time, it was nearly 3 pm and we wanted to beat the shitty traffic. I hit it anyways while on the 15. Speaking of traffic, I'm SO NOT USED to driving far to get to work but that morning was a total fkg bitch of a drive. I left the house at 7:20 thinking I'd get there well before 8 am. It took 40 damn minutes! I know, wah, wah, boo hoo, right? But oh my gosh, there are some slow ass and crazy drivers on the road.
I'm glad the workshop wasn't yesterday when it rained. Traffic would have been ten times worse. Anyhow, I'm not used to driving in stop and go traffic. It was like that from H Street all the way up to the 94, then again past the 15 exit to the 8 exit! So pretty much, the whole drive was shiteous. To add insult, I did arrive by 8:05 thinking I was late, but it turned out the workshop started at 8:30! WTF! I could have left later (tears out hair in frustration)!
