Recipe for roasted garlic:
ingredients:
X # of heads of garlic depends on how much you want to reek. I used 6 here.
olive oil
1) Slice off the tops of the garlic heads
2) Brush with olive oil
3) Roast in toaster oven (you can use a regular oven too) for 25 minutes at 400 degrees F.
This stuff is so good, but the downside to eating roasted garlic is that your pores will ooze a garlic smell for a few days. Also, I'm telling you, garlic makes your gaseous expulsions more noxious than normal!!!!

The first time I ever had roasted garlic was at one of the Cohn's restaurants; I believe it was Dakota Grill & Spirits.
We did the January 2006 three course meal dinner special for $20.06. Four of the Cohn restaurants (Kemo Sabe, Dakota's, The Prado and Mister Tiki) served your choice of starter, main course and desserts of a selection from the menu.
It was Screg and my 2nd visit to The Prado and our first to the other restaurants. Anyway, back to the roasted garlic, it was a spread for either bread or some sort of cracker (I don't remember) but I do remember how good it was.
the Prado's "crackers" are really good. so thin and tasty.
