Hello there Ladies & Gentlemen Coffee Roasters

[Update - Unfortuntely, this coffee shop is now out of business (as of early summer 2015)]

"Hello there Ladies & Gentlemen...hello there ladies and gentlemen...

Are you ready to raaaaaawk? Are you ready to ROCK!!!"

I still heart you Robin Zander!

The lyrics of one of my favorite Cheap Trick songs ("Hello There")  is also the moniker for this fairly new coffee place in Sherman Heights just east of the 5...

just west of this awesome mural...

Dipped cones from Rita's

Armed with a free certificated and coupon for various items at Rita's...

we headed over for a late night treat...

Milano Coffee Company

Last Friday, after our lunch at TJ Oyster Bar, TC and I went over to the Mission Valley mall so she could use some of her gift cards.  Afterwards, we stopped by a nearby coffee place in an condo complex...

Tam's Thailand Food or a place to avoid

If you've ever been on Adams Avenue, you might have noticed this strip mall.

It's west of DeMille's and right next to Mariposa Ice Cream...

Better donuts from Donut Panic

After our dismal experience at StreetCar (I won't even bother linking it here)...

we went someplace better...

Spreckels Theater

We were excited to be watching a performance at the historic Spreckels Theatre in downtown San Diego...

Although TC watched a play there in elementary school, it was one of those field trips we didn't chaperone.  Tonight we would be watching the Nations of San Diego International Dance Festival...

Pre-show dessert at Le Parfait Paris

We had more than an hour and a half to kill before the show started so...

we headed over to Le Parfait Paris just a few blocks away.

Thai Time, downtown

A few weeks ago, Bert and I had a very light dinner here...

Thai Time is right around the corner from the Spreckel's Theatre where we would be watching the Nations Dance Festival...
